Aminu Seman Hussean is a senior Medical Microbiologist at School of Medicine, college of Health Science, Addis Ababa University.  He has conducted researches on the genetic basis of Antimicrobial resistance, evaluation of rapid diagnostic methodologies for different infectious agents.  Currently, he is a PhD fellow under the REACT-CAN project and he developed a proposal on colorectal cancer. The area he will consider in his research is about tumor biology.  Additional he will also investigate the possible diagnostic, prognostic biomarker for colorectal cancer, epigenetic modification and the patterns of gut microbiota in colorectal cancer cases in relation to health controls.
