Miresa Midaksa is a PhD candidate at Addis Ababa University (AAU) in collaboration with Martin Luther University (MLU), focusing on the Assessment of the Pathways to Diagnosis and Treatment of Suspicious for Cervical Cancers in Ethiopia in a multi-center study. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the School of Public Health, AAU (2017–2019) and a Bachelor of Sciences in Public Health from Haramaya University, Ethiopia (2007–2009). Miresa is currently writing a manuscript based on his formative assessment of the pathways to diagnosis and treatment for cervical cancer cases in Ethiopia. His research areas include cervical cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Under the REACT-CAN project, he is working on improving understanding of cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment in the Ethiopian context.
